Having lived in Japan for almost thirty years, I've spent countless hours travelling its varied landscapes, from the northern reaches to the southern islands. I've had the opportunity to capture the everyday beauty and the understated moments that define this country. Documenting Japan's nature, seasons, culture and the life that thrives within it through my photos is a personal diary of sorts, reflecting on the country I've called home for decades. Admittedly, it’s only a small glimpse of Japan, through the eyes of someone who has wandered, observed, and fallen in love with his new home over and over again.
